Ambassador Rally "Best Practices" from the attending Chambers

The general purpose of the Fairfield Suisun City Ambassador Rally was to promote fellowship and cooperation among the family of Ambassador’s from local Chambers of Commerce throughout Northern California. The Ambassador Rally will promote and provide rally activities for Chamber members involved in the Ambassador function, and for their common benefit.

On April 30th, the Fairfield-Suisun Chamber of Commerce and our Ambassador Committee hosted the 2010 Northern California Ambassador Rally at the Jelly Belly Visitor Center. There were about 125 Ambassadors who attended the Rally and came from as far south as Clovis Chamber and as far north as Greater Redding Chamber. It was a chance for Ambassadors to listen to some great speakers that our Chamber Ambassadors arranged and these speakers were well received by the Ambassador attendees.

I would like to take the time to say a “BIG THANK YOU” to everyone who has volunteered their time, money, facilities, products, services, advertising, and much, much more over the last five months. The Chamber staff knows and appreciates our volunteers because we can’t be successful without all of their help. Kelly Steffey and Jelly Belly Candy Company, Patsy Van Ouwerkerk and Travis Credit Union, Sherry McKillop, owner of Follow Your Compass, Colonel James Vechery—Commander of the 60th AMC at Travis Air Force Base, Beth Javens with the Fairfield Tourism Association, Hiddenbrooke Golf Club, Guittard Chocolate Company, Cast Iron Grill, Main Street West Partners, Costco, Vezer Family Vineyards, Ledgewood Creek Winery, Tenbrink Winery, Wooden Valley Winery, the Chamber Board of Directors and especially to the Ambassadors & Rally Committee who have provided countless hours of support and hard work to the Ambassador Rally & Mixer.
