Committees

Ambassadors Committee

The Ambassadors Committee serves as the goodwill arm of the Chamber, sponsoring all of the Chamber's Mixers, attending ribbon cuttings and grand openings, and participating in new member orientation programs on a regular basis.

Meets 1st Tuesday of every month - Courtyard by Marriot, 1350 Holiday Lane, Fairfield at 8:00am.

Board of Directors

Executive Board meets 4th Tuesday every other month - Chamber, 9:00 am.

Full Board meets 4th Tuesday every other month - Chamber, 9:00 am.

Business Issues Committee

No business issue is too small! When local, state, and national governments are at work-so is the Business Issues Committee. Twice a month the Committee meets to go over and discuss local, state, and national political affairs. The group acts on the behalf of the entire Chamber when making decisions.

Meets 2nd Wednesday of every month - Chamber, 12 pm.

Business and Education Committee

This Committee exists to create effective future leaders by providing a bridge between business and education. A sound educational system is not only critical to businesses attracting and keeping top talent and expanding needed workplace skills, but it is a major measure of merit for any community. This committee reflects the very strong Chamber commitment to our future well being.

Meets 1st Thursday of every month - Chamber, 12 pm.  

Fundraising Committee

Business Expo: Provides an atmosphere for members to display their business and generate additional business contacts. Held once a year.
Chamber Golf Tournament: Offers an opportunity for members to publicize their business and create more business partnerships.
Black & White Ball Dinner & Auction:
Many live and silent auction items.

Membership

The Membership Committee serves as the Chamber's oversight to all aspects dealing with Chamber membership, retention, and recruitment.

Meets 3rd Thursday Quarterly or as needed - Chamber, 9 am.

Technology Committee

This committee provides practical technological solutions for Chamber members and is a key component in developing a comprehensive Chamber website and database.  Meets as needed.

Travis Regional Armed Forces Committee

This committee works on behalf of Solano County to lobby for the preservation of Travis Air Force Base - serving as the liaison between the military and civilian communities. Their social functions also promote positive relations between Travis Air Force Base and the local business community. Over $1 Billion in federal dollars comes into the Solano County area via Travis AFB - so there is always a high desire to keep the relationship strong. Annual membership cost - $135.

Regular meeting 3rd Monday every month - The Delta Breeze, 12 pm.
