About Us

The Fairfield-Suisun Chamber of Commerce seeks to sustain a productive and profitable business community by working closely with local, county, and state elected officials.

By representing over 600 business members, the Chamber makes a continuing dialogue with the community's elected representatives a top priority. You can often find the Chamber weighing in on important legislation and political activity that may help or harm businesses in the area. Simply put, the Fairfield-Suisun Chamber of Commerce utilizes the large business community it represents to be heard and taken seriously at the local, county, and state levels of government.

Tasked with managing the Political Advocacy of the Chamber of Commerce is the Business Issues Committee (BIC) which makes recommendations to the Board of Directors on city ordinances, county propositions, and the endorsement of local candidates for public office. Many of these recommendations are heard by the Board and form the bulk of the Chamber's political policy.
