NorthBay Healthcare, a Fairfield-based non-profit organization, is the largest and oldest health care provider in the Solano County area. NorthBay currently operates the community’s only civilian hospitals, by providing top-quality health care at the 132-bed NorthBay Medical Center facility in Fairfield and the 50-bed VacaValley Hospital in nearby Vacaville.
Kaiser Permanente provides medical services to over 300,000 voluntarily enrolled members at its walk-in medical center located at the Gateway Plaza in Fairfield, across the street from the Westfield Shopping Center. Kaiser employs over 500 physicians and 2,400 employees from around the Solano County area and is expanding its Vacaville facility into a full-service hospital in 2009.
The Sutter Fairfield Medical Campus and Sutter Solano Medical Center offers a 21st century approach to health care from its two-building facility located near the Budweiser Brewery in Fairfield. Sutter prides itself on being a non-profit, community-based health care organization providing services in acute care.
David Grant Medical Center is a 265-bed, $200 million facility owned and operated by Travis Air Force Base. The medical center serves active personnel, active military reservists, and all retired military personnel in Solano County.
