Membership Incentive Program (MIP)

The Fairfield-Suisun Chamber of Commerce understands the difficulty that businesses are facing by reducing expenses while trying to produce added income and profit for their businesses. The Membership committee of the Fairfield-Suisun Chamber of Commerce understands that these types of measures are taking place with Chamber members and businesses in general. We would like to help our members as well as potential members by saving money and reduce their expenses.

Recently, the Fairfield-Suisun Chamber began their new Membership Incentive Program (MIP). What does that mean to you as a current Chamber member?

Details of the Membership Incentive Program are as follows:

· Any Chamber member who refers a business or non-profit and they join within a 2-month (60 days) timeline from when the referral was given to the Community Relations Director; that Chamber Member will receive $100 off their next membership renewal.

· Referrals of New Members only BUT if a Chamber member refers a former Chamber member to rejoin then that former Chamber member must not have been a member of the Fairfield-Suisun Chamber over a 12-month period from when they last were members with us then that referral is qualified. (Call the Chamber for Former Member details)

· This program is limited to four (4) referred new members ($400) for Basic and Sponsorship levels of membership. Non-profit levels of membership will be limited to three (3) referred members ($300). Associate members will be limited to 2 ($200.) Otherwise, not to exceed the membership dues amount for the following year.

· There will not be any cash or checks given out in lieu of receiving the $100 discount on their membership renewal. Any current member who has referred new members through the Membership Incentive Program but does not renew their own membership will forfeit their accrued referrals discounts.

· Are you a dedicated and diehard Chamber member? If so and you would rather offer or pass on the $100 discount to your referral then we will accept that as well. In order to take advantage of this Incentive that Chamber member needs to indicate that preference to the Community Relations Director when the referral is given and the $100 discount will be applied to the membership fee for that new member who joins, thus, helping the new member join the Chamber while reducing their business expenses.

We know many Chamber members belong to various business groups, service and charitable organizations, City and County commissions and other Chambers of Commerce in other cities (Ask them to join the Fairfield-Suisun Chamber).

· How many other businesses are located near Chamber businesses?

· Walk in and introduce yourself to neighboring businesses & non-profits!

· Opportunities to reduce your business expenses by helping the Chamber recruit potential new members.

· Opportunities to meet someone who would be interested or they know someone who is interested in using your products or services.

· You won’t know until you ASK!
